Now, if you could only get people to use it, you'd be in heaven.
Pitty, too. This isn't an official discussion forum, so you'd think people with unpopular opinions would slowly file in and say "I'm tired of hearing Cathedrals at every show."
Anyway... that was sort of the point. Honest discussion. I think people hold back on band sanctioned discussions to spare feelings. At least, I've seen it happen before.

well, I've never been to a show. I want to go to a show but they don't play in Chicago often.
Yeah, and you'd think people would be posting ALL kinds of CRAZY crap about the band here. Usually when there is a board created for a band, people will come and discuss the band and even participate in off topic discussion. I've never seen that on Jump, Little Children boards though.
Anyway, I started listening to them back in March, I think. My friend had me download a couple of songs. Of course, I fell in love instantly and I bought the early years and Magazine. But I must say, being in Illinois even with the option to order on the internet, getting a Jump, Little Children cd is like trying to get a black market baby. It took me over a month to get each cd. Besides liking EVERY song, I think my favorite is "Quiet". Wait..."Pink Lemonade"...no no..uh... Their music is fun and comforting to me. I also could never pick a favorite member of the band. To me, every member is necessary and sticks out in his own way. I would be devastated if any member left the band.
Yep. Just a bit of my J,LC listening history.

black market babies are easy. state capitals are hard. Jump usually hits Chicago twice a year. They're playing a club called Martyrs on May 21st. They should play Chicago again around October or November. Since you haven't seen them live, you're missing out on 90% of the band. The Chicago shows in recent years have been some of the best. They played Chi-town on Halloween in '02, two shows in one night...classic stuff. Visit Vivian's Jump page for details about old Chicago shows. She's got pictures and everything. You can link directly to it in her article archive: article-archive.jumplittlechildren.netyou can also browse the Live Guide and find figure out when they'll play shows near you. They tour in cycles....all hot spots in spring and fall...occassional dates in winter and summer.
